Thanksgiving 2023
Together we made a difference for over 75 families.
We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to organize our annual Thanksgiving Project and for the incredible support of our community. Thanks to your generous donations of food and money, we were able to make a significant impact on the lives of over 75 families in need.
How We Made a Difference
- Providing Essential Food: We distributed turkeys, trimmings, and other essential groceries to 75 families, ensuring a warm and fulfilling Thanksgiving.
- Supporting Families in Need: We partnered with the Community Health Corp and Farmington Public Schools to identify families facing housing, food, and transportation insecurities.
- Mobilizing Volunteers: Over 71 volunteers dedicated their time to sorting, packing, and delivering food boxes.
- Financial Transparency: We collected 4269 in cash donations and estimate $2,895.89 in food donations for a total of $7,164.89,
A Look Ahead
Remaining food donations will be donated to a local food pantry. The remaining cash donations will be used to provide food, socks, and handwarmers to the homeless community in December.

How We Made a Difference
- Providing Essential Food: We distributed turkeys, side dishes, and essential groceries to 34 families, ensuring a warm and fulfilling Thanksgiving.
- Supporting Families in Need: We identified families who were struggling and provided them with the necessary resources.
- Mobilizing Volunteers: Our dedicated volunteers spent countless hours packing, decorating, and delivering food boxes.
- Financial Transparency: We collected 1$,380 in cash donations and estimate 2565 in food donations for a total of $3,945.
